Has any one having any great results with the 168 grain Nosler CC in the .308 and Varget? If so, what speed has it been shooting great at?

I have dropped the 185 Berger Juggernauts after using two powders (MR-2000 and Varget) and was not consistently shooting better than one inch at 200 yards as a target bullet.

For the 168 Nosler CC, I loaded up 5 charges of Varget from 43.5 to 44.7 grains with Lapua brass, Fed210M and OAL of 2.840". Hopefully see some great results on my next tryout at 200 yards. I see in the Nosler manual that max charges are 46 grains. I am also using a drop tube to minimize powder crush, but haven't felt any yet. I have pulled the box off the garage shelf after been sitting there a very long time.

My best Varget load for the 168 CC is 44.5 gr, CCI Primer, Federal Match Case, AOL 2.785, 5 shots in .328. With Laupa cases same load 3 in .290. I quit messing around with the rifle when I shot 3 into .198 with 44 gr of RL-15, using WW cases.

TackDriver284 - so you're getting sub one-inch groups at 200 yards and not happy?

Okay, am pretty well convinced I've got nothing to offer. I used those bullets to achieve "high master" in NRA long-range with my 308 Win. But... I don't think I ever shot better than an inch or so at 200. Used Varget & RL-15 too.
