Just curious if anyone has tried reloadiing with retumbo or if it would work that great trying to cut down on different powders in my selection. So if anyone has loaded or can do a quick load data chart for me thanks. Im shooting 143eldx out of a 22” barrel

I would say there are much better choices out there

Way too slow for a 6.5 Creedmoor. H1000 is too slow. R-26 is typically compressed at the top loads to get it to work with the heavier bullets and it's faster than H1000.

RL26 is working well for me but is definitely compressed, even with the use of a drop tube.

Easy fix is to get another rifle/caliber to help you use that powder [emoji1303]

Lol i agre want a 28 nosler going to build one off a howa 1500 action i think

20” Bbl, 48.0 gr of RL26, very slightly compressed at 2.898 coal. (could just ever so slightly hear a kernel or two crack) 143eldx. 2740fps. Sub moa. (only 3 shots, but 1/2”)

47.4 was at 2708, no compression.
Both single digit sd, es under 20. 0.050 off lands.

47.7gr accuracy was noticeably worse and sd was 2x the 47.4/48.0 loads.

Tikka ctr mag still has plenty of room.

If you want to use Retumbo get rid of that little 6.5 Creedmoor and get you a REAL 6.5 rifle like 264 Win Mag. LOL Just yanking your chain. Rebumbo really makes my 264 mag a SCREAMER. 130 Accubonds at 3350 fps.

Rl26 has worked amazing in my 6.5 CM with 147 ELD's..

That load runs about 2775 from my rifle.

RL17 isn't chopped liver either..

Lol i hava a 6.6x284 and a 26 nosler i use retumbo in both amd really like temperture stability is awesome i live in north dakota so thats a big deal might be 95 one day the next -20 so powder is really nice.

48.7 grains of RL26 with a 142 ABLR is giving me 2977 ft/s out of a 22" barrel. The primers are flattening but still have a rounded edge, no cratering and a normal bolt lift. They hold around 3/4" which is just fine for my purposes.
