I found an old box of Nosler 30 caliber 150 grain solid base hollow points, but I can’t find any info on them. I have the 2nd edition Nosler manual but it doesn’t mention them in there. Has anybody used these and are they a big game bullet? Also would be interested in what load data to use with these.

My Nosler # 1 manual shows it as a 150gr .308 HP BT Match Solid Base. So I don't think I would use it for big game. What were you planning on shooting it in?

Thanks for the info.
Not sure what I’ll use them for. I’ve got .06, H&H, Weatherby, and Winchester mags.
Looks like I’ll just be plinking paper with them at some point.

I have tried the 168 match bullets on Coyotes and switched to a s165 gr, soft point bullet after several that were well hit, ran over the hill. They don't run near as far when the soft point hits them

I have load data for them in 30-06 on up so if you need a starting point my manual has data for IMR,Win, Hodgon and N-203 from my 1976 manual.

Is the data the same as it he other Nosler 150s?
I would be interested in info with IMR4350 in all of my 30s if you can send it.

The data runs 2-3grs less with the HP BT then other Nosler 150gr bullets.

IMR 4350

30-06 150gr HP BT Match Solid Base - 53.0grs 2619fps 55.0grs 2746fps
(57.0grs 2872fps max)
300 H&H ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ - 63.0grs 2980fps 65.0grs 3177fps
(67.0grs 3233fps max)
300wm ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ - 68.0grs 3165fps 70.0grs 3277fps
(72.0grs 3363fps max)
300Bee ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ - 71.0grs 3084fps 73.0grs 3119fps
(75.0grs 3162fps max)

Loads in () are max loads per the manual.
Remember this is 1976 data.
