I don’t have brass capacity.

Norma Brass
Fed215GM
143 eldx
20” Bbl

H4350, RL26, RL16 are the powders i’m looking at.

48 gr of RL26 magneto’d at 2739 avg. Very, very lightly compressed. A kernel break every few loads

Redding micrometer seating dies, say not to compress, so..looking for faster burning powders as an option to avoid compression.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have QL to run but they will need the cartridge. I'm assuming 6.5 Creedmoor but could be 260 Remington or maybe even 6.5-284 but with your load and velocity I'm think one of the former. Oh and barrel length would also be helpful. I left that one out myself the last time I ask for help.

Awesome! Thank you. I’ll report back on actuals for future reference.

Was thinking a little more was there from the H4350 and RL16. But i suppose it’s pretty close considering the 20” bbl.

Looks like i can try a drop tube on the 26, as there is still some room to go.

Again, thanks for your time.

Here is a little data from the initial RL26 workup about a month ago.

2.898 aol
2.250 comp
0.050 off the lands.
143eldx
20” bbl
That’s as close as i can get to lands, boattail just past the shoulder junction. (all of it).

Interestingly, these are pretty dang close to the QL DrMike provided.

Only 3 shots per.

That 48 grain load looks danged good to me! I am running 46.5 in Alpha cases with RL26 with the 147 ELD and getting 2775 with the load and great accuracy. It is a might crunchy, but it loads fine and shoots awesome so I have resisted messing with it.
