QL question

I am intrigued with the info that QL provides but I can never make heads or tails out of the QL’s info people post.

This is a screen shot of a recent post for a combo I am in interested in.

Can someone break down what it’s saying for H4831 SC? It’s just a bunch of numbers with no heading or labels.
 
H4831sc , 102.7 % case fill , 60.7grains of powder , 3.93 gramm of powder , 2936FPS velocity , 98.3% propellant burnt , 64250 psi max pressure , 11678 psi when bullet exits bbl , 1.155 bbl time in milliseconds , then it says near max powder charge


this info is in nice neat columns on quickload . when it gets copied and pasted on the forum it gets all jumbled up .

Thanks. I figured that was the case, so it only provides a max load and no suggested starting load?

most reloading books go about 4.0 grains below the max charge and call this the minimum starting load . so on the example above , I'd start at 56.7 grains . you would work up from the min load towards max , while watching for pressure .
 
The one you posted is a run for all powders. Lets you have an idea which ones may be good.
For what you are asking you want an individual run on 4831 only. That will give a list of charges with that particular powder.
 
Also, QL allows for barrel length, differences in cases, primers.

My favorite is the 10% light and 10% hot. If your lot is running hot, you can figure it out quickly and safely.

I didn’t look on at your specifics, but let’s say H4831, at max load on your 3006, should be 2950 FPS, and you are running a ladder test and you hit 2950 at 100%, now pretend you use all your H4831 and buy a second lot. And the new batch is hot 10%...you can see that and adjust your recipe.
