Opinion on Redding Dies 6.5 CM

Redding, although expensive, has some of the best dies on the market.
A lot of benchrest shooters use Redding.
So, if you want, or can spend the money on them, you should.

I looked at the set you linked to . this looks like a middle of the road die set . it has a few upgrades over the basic die set . these include a micrometer seating die , and a carbide expander button . I've never used carbide expander buttons , but I really like the micrometer bullet seating stem . from what I can tell the seating die does not have the alignment sleeve that the competition die sets have . I'd say it's a nice upgrade over a standard die set , especially if you are loading a couple different bullets . don't expect any magic from the die set , they are still mass produced , not cut to your fired brass dimensions . if you do buy them let us know your thoughts on them .

Redding reloading equipment has been good to me. They’ve been very helpful with Ackley cartridges that need some die tune ups for sizing.
