I bought a single shot rifle in this caliber and there is not too much data available.
Can you tell me some tips where to start? I,m planning to use the 160gr accubonds and maybe the LR's too. Powders are Vihtavuori N160, N165 and the N560. I use Federal 215 primers.

Neat cartridge, to be sure.

Tried the 160's with N160 up to 56,3gr and mv 2780fps, accuracy was ok, but not as good as i wanted.

I'm going for Red Stag hunting in october and I'm trying to decide that what bullet should I use. The range can be between 40-300 meter and maybe the 150 Partition would
Be a better bullet?

The rifle is Haenel Jaeger 9 and it has a famous Franz Jäger tilting block action so it should handle quite hot loads.

Can you help me out deciding the best bullet to use for Red Deer? And maybe give a some data using the Vihtavuori N160 powder
