Bought a 6BR Rem from a fellow club member back in the winter built on a Win Mod 70 with a Douglas tapered 28 in barrel with 1 in 14 twist. He had it built about 20 yrs ago shot it some then stuck in his safe.
Is anyone shooting this round with the 1 in 14 twist and what are you shooting? Most today are 1 in 8. I have found that 33.5 grs of Varget with 70 gr Sierra BTHP Match is a one hole if I do my part. Have tried 70 gr Nosler Varm with 30.5 H4895 and it's close. Good practice round if wanting to save the match bullets. Dan.
