I had some free time this afternoon so decided to go ahead and put together some 165 grain Ballistic Tips after stealing Booker68’s load info.
Before I shot I gave the 30.06 a scrubbing and it was very much due for one. After 27 shots it took some work to get it cleaned up.
Got to the bench and shot the Ballistic Tip load first. First shot went well and then spread the next two out.
Hoping it’s just the clean barrel settling down.

Shot the Sierra load and either put two in the same hole or missed the paper completely. Getting close to an 1” at 100 yards will work for me.
