H322 powder?

A buddy just gave me a pound of H322, he's gotten completely out of handloading.

It looks like it might work well with my 204 Ruger and a variety of bullets.

I've never used H322, not that I can recall anyway. Anyone here use it? Thoughts? Experiences?

Particularly with the 204 Ruger, but just getting some info from users of the powder would be great.

I was going to say that exact same thing!

It works well in the big bore lever action rifles.
Plus small and medium sized rifle cases.

Looks as if it would work for your 204 Ruger.

I have a bunch of 32 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets for the 204, and my CZ rifle has a 25" barrel. I've seen over 4,000 fps with book loads. Rough on ground squirrels.

It's my go to powder for the 45-70. 300 gr bullets shoot lights out.

The extra inches definitely put some pep into that bullet.

I use H322 in my 204. I use HDY 32gn V-Max bullets and brass. (only thing available when I bought it as that cal. was just released). My recipe is: 27gn H322, GM205M primer, brass trimmed to 1.84", OAL (base to bullet tip) 2.32". I have a Savage 12FV with a 26" barrel and get right at 4000 fps. Although it has a Boyd's thumbhole stock now.

 
I have 6 of 8 lbs of H322 left from two 6PPC rifles that I had. It was the go to powder for them and 68 to 70 gr flat base bullets. I've been using it in several 223's. It's a great metering powder.

I'm hearing good things about this powder. Now I just need to figure out if I'm going to use it to move big bullets or little bullets! :)

Ive used it in my 223rem with 52gr match bullets. Accuracy was really good. My only experience with this powder.
