I recently bought a lot of five boxes of .243/6mm bullets off Ebay. One of the boxes was Barnes 95 gr XLC. I've searched online but haven't found any load data. I've emailed Barnes but thought maybe some of the members here might have some pet loads for 243 Winchester and/or 6mm Remington they would be willing to share or any hints about loading this style bullet in general.

Hope it helps. Those bullets were sort of a hit-or-miss proposition in my experience. If they worked, they worked very well to give good accuracy. If they didn't work to deliver accuracy, they could be exceptionally frustrating. I still have a box or two floating around here, I believe.
 
Get a LEE Factory Crimp Die for your rounds! Crimp them pretty hard too, they are slick as snot buddy! I killed alot of game with them in other calibers, you can use TSX data pretty much with them too ( but I would follow the QL loads Doc listed for you!) but OMG they can be frustrating w/o that Crimp die! They didn't make them back then! If you can't find one, stay far away from compressed loads, they "will" push the bullet out! Drop back to a faster powder if you can't get the speed you want. I ran into that bad with the 338 Win Mag and the 185XLC. I couldn't get enough powder behind it to get any speed! My compressed load of R19 turned into a "cake", blew my accuracy and seating depth. I dropped back it IMR 4350, non compressed and load dropped 100fps but killed my elk! Have a ball pard!
