About the only thing I can find about a Tikka T3, that doesnt suit me: Is the stocks are slippery! The panels were the Molded checkering is not rough enough. I see alot of custom smiths are adding textured panels on glass stocks to make them easier to hold onto. Which basically involves adding epoxy resin over the panels and texturing to produce a much more gripping surface. I decided
To try it to my 6.5 camo stock while it is still in the laminate stock.
Here is the primer coat, ALOT better ! The top coat will be in a Brown
And heavily texture, this is going to turn an otherwise slippery stock
Into something that is very grippy!
I will post pics when it is done in the final brown textured color.
Here is how it turned out , seams about 200% easier to hang onto
