OK I will start: ALL VELOCITIES ARE IMPACT VELOCITIES!!!!!

30 cal e-tips at 1800 fps
Sierra TournamentMaster Bullets 44 Caliber (429 Diameter) 250 Grain Full Profile 1500 fps

All 6.5mm sorted sm med and lg. 120 is probably lower than the 26 Nos should shoot and not sure my 1:8.5 twist barrel would stabilize that 160 but interested. Estimated impact velocities at 200 yrds.

120 E-Tip - 3100+
120 TTSX - 3100+
120 GMX - 3100+

127 LRX - 3000+
129 Interbond - 3000+
130 AB- 3000+

142 ABLR - 2900-3000+
156 Oryx - 2800-2900+
160 PPSN - 2700-2800+

No Fotis you know that's gonna make some us crazy and buy bullets just to jug them!!

Awesome thread buddy. I got to many to list. I will get back to this starting with the 286PT 9.3.

Hmmm. I've got four boxes of .30 cal, 168 gr E-Tips that I haven't even opened. Could load them down in my .308 and give them a try.

Pretty sure they'd expand a bit and penetrate through lots of water-filled milk jugs!

I might still have some of those 250 gr .44 mag bullets left. Used them a long time ago... They didn't expand back then, not from a handgun. Doubt I can get them up to much more than 1250 fps mv from my 5" .44 mag too...

we need a Partition with a boat tail !
it would be the ultimate hunting bullet near or far.
far meaning past 500 yards.
ideally a 125gr 6.5mm first

I could run the 250 gr Sierra Tournament Master 44's through my 1894 at 1500 fps if someone wants to send me a couple.

Welcome aboard, bison. A boattail Partition. Hmmmm. Interesting. What would you be slinging those 1235 grain 6.5s in?

I've got some Jim. I'll try and send them the next time I'm near my bench.

I ran them from the ML this year and had one perfect one and one explode on the same deer at very similar ranges.... I'll be using something else next year.

Isn’t that an AccuBond? Half kidding but I can’t see a lick of difference between the two on Elk or deer. Both penetrate and kill just about the same I’ve seen. But I have only dug through about a 1/2 dozen Elk so far. To me they are the same thing with a touch increased BC on the Accubonds.

I’m not sure about the BT, but I like the idea of it. I am sure that it is hard to beat the performance of a Partition as a hunting bullet. I shoot the 140 Nosler CC out of my 6.5 and also 140 Partition, both ~2800fps. They will both ring the 10” steel plate at 600 with no elevation change. I’ve not been further yet, I wonder at what distance the BT pays off?

I know Sierra says ok for bear but only at ridiculously slow speeds . Sierra makes great hunting bullets in 44 caliber tournament master isn't supposed to be on of them .

Nope, you’re right. I should’ve known better. They looked excellent in the jugs and most recovered from deer, but every once in awhile they’d just come apart.

I have taken dozens of deer with 44 mag and 44 bullets in ml . Back in the 70s the 180 load was 30 grain h110 and 240 Sierra took 25 grain h110 the 180 was for my mod 29s and 240 was for Ruger carbine and M 1894 then they came out with 210 which split the difference in weight and bearing surface but came out with new manual at the same time that dropped the charge down across the board . Before we found out we could not load them that hot we put 27 grains h110 behind 210s and for over 30 years my go to load has been Sierra 210 over an undisclosed load of h110 .
