Shot from a .257 WBY Mag @ 20yds. The 25 cal bullet stopped between jug #5 and#6. It weighed 75.5g (retained 62% of its original weight) and expanded to .543". The bullet is on the right. It is next to a .224 cal Partition.

The 257 120 gr PT is a tough bullet. Looks good.

What was the velocity that the bullet started out at?

I wish i had a chronograph to be able to tell you  I was using 71g of RL25. Should be close to 3200fps

I was just rereading this and realized how well that bullet works. Little brothers have dominated the local NY deer with almost the exact same load in their 257 WBY.

Ya Scotty it's hard to go wrong with a Partition

Yea, If only I could get the 115 or the 120 to shoot. Tried everything I know to get them to shoot in my gun. Ready to give up and give somebody some freebies. Daniel

Daniel, what are you trying to get them to shoot in?
