6.5mm Rem Mag 130 gr AB at 3047 fps MV recovered in water jugs at 300 yds.
The bullet weighs 84.3 grs, expanded to .573" and was recovered in the 6th jug.

Nice mushrrom Jim! Hard to keep them in the jugs at 300 yards isn't it! Tough to keep everything lined-up just so!

I wouldn't get that velocity out of my 260, but the bullet would perform well, nevertheless. Thanks for posting.

Fotis,

She is shooting MOA at 300 yds, and that is with a Vari-X III 2.5-8x36mm. Plenty good enough for its intended purpose.

Scotty,

I've started to work through all my non-shooting rifles this past week, and the 260 is near the top of the list together with the 257 Bob.

very impressive! it is nice to know that bullet will still have that much punch at 300 yards 8) . The torture tests we do at close range doesn't really give a true picture sometimes.

That is why I like to test bullets at 50, 100, 200, and 300 yds.
