7mm-08 140gr BalTip velocities

Any 7-08 users out there achieving better than 2800fps avg MV from Varget using 140gr BalTips???

I’m charged up to 41.5gr powder reaching 2750 avg MV, but 42gr has shown pressure signs before. [emoji848]
Thinking of switching to H4350.

Any help or similar powder load comparisons would be helpful.

RL17 should get you mid 2900's FPS with that bullet . I get 3080 using 140 gr bergers in a 24"bbl .

H4350 won't do much better than 2800 FPS

RL17 works well in my 20” 7-08. Able to easily push into the 2800’s without issues.

Mine has a 22" tube. Yeah, I hit the 2800 threshold with other powders, but couldn't get it to group. I finally just went with a full QL dose of Varget @ 2760 and sub MOA groups. Don't really see where the extra 40fps is actually going to make any real difference.

I'm getting 2950fps with 51gr of RL16 and a mollied 140gr E-tip. 22" barrel...
