7mm Rem Mag, 67.0gr H4831 SC, Fed 215 primer, 0.100" off the lands, muzzle velocity of 3110.

Shot at 100 yards, went through five jugs, started going a bit off a straight path at jug 4, just hit the handle of the fifth milk jug, found in the berm behind the jugs.

129.9gr retained weight, .625" at it's widest.

Nice recovery. That's good expansion and penetration, more than enough for elk.

I've always had good success with Swift Sciroccos. They have accounted for more than a few head of game. I used them quite a bit in my 7mm RM.
 
what do you think about this bullet and the shoulders on bigger game. I.E. elk or moose. What's your comfort level?
 
It's been awhile since I've shot a moose but I wouldn't think twice about it. I don't know if it would exit but I think it would bust through the shoulder and scramble some soft tissue in the engine room, and probably exit the chest cavity.

I used this bullet for some years in my 7RM. It accounted for a number of elk and moose; never had a failure.
