I bought a pound of RL 23 to try out and was wondering if anyone here has used it yet. I want to try it with the 160 AccuBond and the 168 LR AccuBond. I thought about using for the 150 e tip as well. I loaded up some of the etips with imr 4350 to try out first but might try the RL 23 after that. I have noticed that there is not much info out there for this powder bullet combo as of yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My 7 mag rem 700 with a 24 in barrel, fed 215 primer really likes the max load of reloader 22 with 160 accubonds. 2900 fps in our chrony. I shoot 1 inch groups at 200 yds all day long. I tried several powders to work up that load. Worked great on the elk I shot too.

Let us know how the reloader 23 works.

That is a classic 7mm Rem mag load for western big game! (y)

And welcome to the forum.

Welcome aboard, ShamrockShooter. Fine first post; hope we'll see many more. For sure, you have listed what has to be a classic load for the 7 RM. It'll drop game all day and twice on Sunday.
