I just had the bear skin tanned. Very soft & wow, what fur! Beautiful. The tanned hide is simply draped across the footboard of our bed - my wife's idea! No wall space big enough for it here in the house if I'd had it turned into a rug.

If I get the opportunity to hunt the north again, I think I'd rather go for caribou or moose, not another grizzly. Somehow, one seems enough.
