No bucks this year for me. I did harvest some does. Here’s a picture of a pair one night. Was pretty fun. Used my compound and crossbow. This pair was part of a herd that mowed down acres of soybeans...they tasted great. Several went to the local food bank after the freezers got full.

Did not hunt any big game in the fall of 2018,but did hunt rabbits,dove and fall turkey.

A few more pictures.

All leave an impression that it was a good time afield for you. Dove can sure be a challenge to drop, that's for sure.

Do those rabbits turn the tables on the coyotes. Your shooting some mighty fine hares!

I’m way late to the party but here are my 2018 hunting pics. This might have been the most successful season I’ve ever seen as far as filling so many tags goes. The only tag I didn’t fill was my black bear tag.

Got this cow elk on a damage control tag in August. One shot from my .30-06 double lunged her at just under 200 yards.



I took this Cougar at work on the ranch in September. My first one ever. One shot to the heart at about 100 yards from my .22-250 did the trick. The Rem-UMC 45 grain JHP load is a cat killer!



On the last day of buck season I took this muley right at 205 yards. A single 165 grain Partition from my .30-06 did the trick. Not my best set of antlers but definitely my biggest bodied buck ever.



And during Antlerless Deer season Emma and I both tagged out on opening day. A single shot each and we filled our tags. Emma used her Remington 660 .243 and 100 grain American Whitetail factory loads while I used my Savage 99E in .308 loaded with Remington 150 grain Corelokts.
