Arizona elk tag

Well I got lucky for a change and drew an early rut rifle tag. dates are Oct. 06 to Oct. 19.

Thanks, this is one of the multi units, 15a, 15b, and 18a. Not a high density of elk but they take some very large bulls from there.

Thanks everyone, Guy, I will use my old Wby. fibermark that is rebarreled to .338 win., load will be 225 NP at around 2900fps. Backup rifle is 6.5-300 Wby. ULW loaded with 140g AB at 3400fps.

Congratulations on drawing your elk tag. My son and I applied, but have not heard anything, not a good sign.

Last elk season I talked to another hunter that shot a nice bull in one of those units, the previous year. Good Luck!
