Hey Everyone

Been awhile since posting, but I've been viewing in the forums. Had three kids in the last 5 years so suffice it to say Ive had to prioritize my hunting/range time.

Any who, I got a "day at the range" on July 5th and took out my favorite gun, a TC ICON .30-06. This thing LOVES winchesters deer season XP 150gr ammo. Shot a locator group at a hundred, clover leafed, then should another 20 rounds at 200 and 300 yards results are attached. For a hunting rig with light for caliber hunting ammo the thing will shoot. The rest is on me!

First pic is the setup

2nd pic is the 200 yard group

3rd/4th pics are 300 yards groups

Weird question, but what size groups are those, roughly?

Ive never fully understood how to measure groups, can someone explain

In my estimate, the most accurate measurement of group size is to measure from the outside point of the farthest groups, subtracting the caliber. Effectively, this equates to measuring from center to center on the two farthest holes.
