A Sensible Mom

A couple of days ago, I posted a thread that exposed anti-hunters attacking a young lady who took a great moose (https://forum.nosler.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=36359). In today's news is a great article of a Mom who takes her children hunting. It is a great read as this mom speaks of how hunting gets her children away from the computer and teaches them to balance life. It is definitely worth the read.

a quick story somewhat along the lines we are speaking---my granddaugter is into horses and I arranged for her and I to visit Ireland to go on a fox hunt. I was to old to ride with her but she had a great time. She loved the horses and hounds and of course the hunt. When she returned home and to school, the other girls ask her if she saw the fox and she replied ( honestly ) "parts of it" . she was sent home with a note to her mother that she was not to talk about killing foxes to the other students Fox hunting has been banned in England ( they still have drags ) and it should be in Ireland. The male students are not allowed to talk about hunting and she is not allowed to talk about fox hunting---It was a good thing I was in Europe.
