Went out yesterday to make sure the Muzzleloaders were sightedvin for elk season (opens next weekend). Got’em all sighted in, then figured i had time for a stand or two.

A couple sequences of Pup Distress sounds on the old CritR Call and this guy came running. Shot him at about 50 yards.

Thanks fellas.... I love calling coyotes with hand calls. There's something incredibly gratifying about fooling critters into thinking you’re one of them...

Went back out last night with the whole fam.... even Wrigley, the 10 month old Border-Heeler. Daughter, the dog, and I took the West side (good wind, bad sun)... my wife and son took the East side (bad wind, good sun) .... they saw multiple coyotes, and we saw a nice antelope buck. We’ve got a couple antelope tags in this unit for October.... and I’m definitely going to be back.
