Went poking around yesterday just cause. These guys made it through hunting season. Hopefully it's a mild winter.

I note that they are not segregated into separate herds just yet. Always good to see a good escapement of stock for the future. I hope to get out with my grandson to do a bit of elk hunting in the next couple of months.

I think he's a good one too. He was about 450 yards so it's tough to get a good pic. He has really good fronts and good width. Definitely a shooter.
