Social Distance Ram

Well the dog and I decided to hop in the Jeep yesterday afternoon and socially distance ourselves from most folks. We found some bighorn rams that were hanging out together, a bit north of town, and paused to photograph them. You guys like wildlife, so I thought I'd share:







Didn't find the big ol' trophy rams, but these guys were entertaining. :grin:

Isolation day for us as well. Had to go up to Kalispell so we took a detour to the SW Corner of Glacier Park. Lake McDonald.

Ya, these were pretty easy rams to find and photograph. The big boys? Haven't seen them since October!

I'll see what I can do.

Distance on these shots? Close... Under 50 yards.

Dog and I found the rams again today, but we couldn't get very close. Easy 30-06 range, if a fellow had a tag though. :grin:
