20 years, 85,000+ rounds. SWAT, Patrol, Gang Unit, Detectives, and off-duty carry, and I've kept it on my belt for the three years I've been retired. A little looser. Nowhere near as nice looking as a new one. But my Kimber is a veteran, and I like it still. We've been through some "stuff" together.

You put this Kimber to good usefulness and the wear is very obvious. Very stout pistol and I own two of them. That pistol still has a lot of life left.

Guy, I am curious though, do you have a point where this one gets to rest in retirement?

I have been thinking about letting this one rest, and carrying/using a new one.

Have a new Bar-Sto barrel & bushing on order though, for this one. So... Maybe just some replacement parts and no real rest for this good gun.

Love mine too
