Off for another summer in Bristol Bay, I think it’s # 18. Hope you all have a safe and enjoyable summer.

Safe travels and good fishing.
My once owned Ruger M77 338 Win mag will be there with you some where since the new owner plans to hunt Caribou with it.
Yeah it may be over caliber but he wanted the security that it would provide against bears.

If I was limited to one rifle for AK it would be a .338

Well sir, enjoy the heck out of Alaska & fishing again!

And thanks for the elk photo. :)

Has anyone heard from Salmon Chaser since he posted here in June?
We use to get some up dates on the fishing from time to time.
I'm guessing he is too busy.
I hope all is well.

Got home to Oregon this morning at 0130. Busy summer, lost my phone and photos, everything else went ok. Except Kings. Very slow fishing for them. We will voluntarily implement a no kill on Kong’s next year. Looking forward to getting caught up with everyone.

Filleting salmon, in 18 years I don’t think I ever was on the dock in a t shirt;

Excellent photos. They give us opportunity to enjoy the rivers vicariously. Thanks.

In the sand near her feet are the tracks of a Grizzly cub.
