Maverick and I managed to find and photograph some bighorn rams this morning.

Not really related but the Idaho bighorn governors tag just sold for 310k last week during sheep week. The Arizona desert tag went for 315k too. I need to win the lottery

Beautiful photos Guy! The resolution is incredible... They a truly a noble looking animal. CL

Wow, at that price, the remaining rams in Idaho and Arizona should be able to retire! CL

You are really making good use of the right light. Nice composition.

You could sell those pretty easily in a art/photography show.

Thank you for sharing. Makes me want to fly out west and walk the mountains!

Thanks all.

Years ago I made my peace with the tag lottery. I'd love to draw one, and hunt a ram here locally.

But... I'm awfully glad that I can find, watch, and photograph them often. :)

Well said. Getting a tag would be amazing, but, just the chance to see them, let alone take some awe inspiring pictures. That’s the sort of stuff some people live a whole life trying to get to.

True enough. Am blessed to live in an area where the bighorns are plentiful. Maverick (the dog) and I got to spend some quality time with the rams again this morning.
