Hi.

Am wondering if any forum members have used the Nosler 100 grn Varmint projectiles in a 257 Weatherby, and I am wondering how they will perform on Pigs and Wild Dogs out to 400 yds.
I didn't realise that they are not supposed to be pushed out faster than 3200 fps, and as it has taken 4 months to get some here in OZ, so I got some loaded up and will hope for the best.
I don't like bullets to exit was the reason behind getting the Varmint Tips, but am now a bit concerned about them blowing up on the surface of a large Boar.
The load I chose will push the bullet out at around 3500 fps.
Any feed back will be greatly appreciated/
Cheers, Baz.

The 100 grain in 257 is a hunting bullet I believe. ..the 85 gr is a varmint bullet...I have driven the 85s up to 3600 fps in 25-06...don't think you will have an issue
