Favorite calibers

I've loaded and shot lots of different calibers over the years but my favorite caliber without a doubt is the 25.06 followed by the 30.06, .260 rem and the .308 win. Its really hard to choose a favorite because I love them all.

You should try the 300 WSM Bill. I hear it’s a 1/2” shorter.....

Kind of like asking what my favorite pie is. The answer is usually the one that's in front of me. Last yr my favorites that I was fortunate enough to be successful with were 30-06, 348, and 6mm. This yr depending on how the hunting season and tags work out I'm hoping to fit a 8x57 and a 35 Remington into the mix.

For approximately 45 years I shot my 270win first in a BDL & then in the CDL with 130gr Partitions.
Then I started talking to a Doctor who's initials are Dr.Mike  and that is when this journey started.
I now say that I have a really hankering for the 35 Whelen and the 284 family of rifles (y).
The motto I try to live by is "So many calibers & too little time"

Blessings,
Dan

17 Rem, 222, 22-250, 257 Roberts, 6.5x55, 7x57, 280 Rem, 338-06 Ackley, 35 Whelen and 300 Win Mag

I can't believe I left the .257 Roberts off my list. What was I thinking, Townsend Whelen said it was the most useful cartridge for north america.

DrMike people here may know you are not to blame but my wife Nettie has been told so often that DrMike told me to do it  we all know you have to do what the good Doctor tells you .

Blessings,
Dan
