hi all, I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I want to buy an SKS rifle for field fun and just to have. I have read a few articles about the different countries of origin and some pros and cons but I was wondering what you guys think. Also, does anyone reload for them and is there anything different about reloading for them, ie crimping or anything out of the ordinary? I am used to reloading for my 7mm rm and 30-06.
Here is the link for some surplus ones i was looking at (it's the 4th one down)

I have not shot it since I got an M1 garand, But I found ammo so cheap not worth the hassle of reloading 7.62x39. most brass is not brass but steel or berdan primed and can't be reloaded. I have a chinese model a friend has a Yugo, his seems front heavy compared to mine. using a 5 rd mag and sp ammo I did take a deer a few years ago with mine.
