Hi guys. I am new here. I spend most of my time on Archerytalk.com but do like rifle shooting. I have a chance to buy a used but in excellent condition Sako Forester A2. It has a heavy barrel, wood stock and comes with 2 sets of Sako mounts (high and low profile), harris bipod and a Scope that I don't like. I can pick up all this minus the scope for $600.00. I really like the deal. \Is the Forester a good gun?
I have owned a Tikka 595 that I loved but regretfully sold (.22-250) and own a Ruger 77MKII in .223 that i shoot a bit. LAter all, nice sight. Rob.

If it is in good shape it is a good price. Used Sako rifles that I see generally go for no less than 750.00 when in good condition. If it is not too heavy for whatever you plan to use it for, with the hvy barrel, I would have no hesitation.

I have one in 243. Excellent rifle and accurate too. It is a good buy for $600. If I were you I'll grab it.
