i am thinking of sending my handi rifle in for another barrel. I am wanting to set it up as a varmit rifle and am not sure of what to use. I am looking at the .223,22-250,25/06, or maybe a 308. Whats your opinion??
What type of varmites? I`d likely go with the 223 or 22-250. The 223 will offer cheaper ammo and work well on p-dogs, fox, ect. The 22-250 has another 100 yd range and is a better choice for groundhogs and other larger varmites in my opinion.
