This is the wood stock for my .275 Rigby.

It needs some more oil added for the finish and then it is off to get checkered.

The wood has some character to it. That will be quite handsome. The 7X57 is one of my favourite cartridges.

Gee I thought you were talking about Wood Stock and was expecting some historical pictures
That is a very nice looking piece of wood. (y)

On another forum I belong to,"wood stock" would mean ladies in scantily clad clothing. ;)

That is one gorgeous stock.
Looking forward to seeing it finished.

Very nice. Once you get the checkering on it, it is going to pop! Can't wait to see the finished stock and rifle.

Can't wait to see the finished rifle myself!

Then I get to shoot it and even use it on javelina next February.

Then,I have a .300 H&H I want re-stocked.

You're definitely working with some classic cartridges. They do deserve a handsome platform for their use in this present day. Good work.

Thanks DrMike. Been reading Jack O'Connor for too long. ;)

Yup,I do like the old cartridges, although do have a few of the newer ones like the .375 & .338 RUM and the .17 HMR.
