Anyone know a good place to get some simple checkering done and possibly a stock refinishing?

I can do a rubber oil finish but checkering is a little more finesse than I can muster.

I can vouch for their work bear...back in 2006 I had a rifle made up for my Marine SIL's return from the sandbox. I had a really nice marble cake English walnut classic stock put on a Mod 700 .270 and sent it off to Ahlmans. I don't remember the turnaround time except it was on the short side! If they can't do an oil costing for you, heck, just use Tung Oil and wet sand it between coats. I put 7 coats one time on an old Bishop, utility grade stock for my M1917 '06. It was beautiful and held up great in East Texas rains! Good luck to you Pard.
