Question for the AR tinkerers here. I just installed an adjustable gas block on my 22 Nosler. Can I now go with a very light buffer weight. I have a kit to mix and match the weights inside. Seems to me if i go with the lightest buffer and tune my gas to that I should be good, right?

Sounds like a good plan. You will have a lot to play with

I was shooting with the H3 buffer,5.8 oz. I put together the lightest,1.76oz. I'll try tuning gas to that. Hope it's easier on the brass now.

Well,so much for that plan.still beating the crap out of brass. Switched to the Nosgar version with a 6.8 bolt in a new BA barrel. Down to a 2.4oz buffer, standard gas block and dropping reusable brass at 4 oclock about 4-6' away. Much better.
