We have our 25th anniversary coming up in May, and she wanted something we could do together...So my mind immediately jumped to shooting..I have Starting building a matching set of "his and her" AR's...I guess I'm lucky she enjoys shooting..Also makes me walk a narrow line...
And, yes the "punisher" skull on hers is sporting a hair-bow..A little bit of custom laser work I had done.

Very nice. Congratulations on your 25th too.

Thanks guys..Yeah 25 years nowadays is quite good..She has a few bolt guns and handguns that she really enjoys shooting, but I thought these would take some of the "tension" out of shooting and make it about fun, not bulls-eyes on those days when its just about being out and enjoying the day..I'm going with thread protectors rather than any kind of flash hider or brake..One of them is obnoxious enough with a brake on it, two going off would be intolerable..LOL

Well guys, her's is finished..Took it for a quick test run and it performed flawless..I'm just glad nobody was there to see me shooting a pink rifle..LOL

Thanks, Mike...I just wish I would have gotten a manicure before I went to shoot it....

Well, I hope that works for you. My wife would not be pleased.

She did adore the 9 days we spent in Maui for our 30th.

Regards, Guy

Guy, I'm hedging my bets with a trip to Nags Head. But she will love her rifle..She's been dropping hints for a few years now.

Excellent! (y) I consider it a great gift. She is obviously a lady of distinction.

There ya go. Ya my wife has a 38 revolver she practices with, and she likes to shoot my .22 Marlin 39 or the 20 gauge double from time to time, but really doesn't want to own any other firearm than her little 38 snub-nose self-defense handgun.

30+ years ago I gave her a Ruger 10/22 for a birthday present... That went over like a lead balloon!

My youngest son still has that rifle, it's older than he is. She did enjoy the hastily cobbled together date that night at a nice place. Enjoyed lobster as I recall. It went over a lot better than the little rifle did... Learned my lesson.
