Sorta, kinda. You can't see it in this picture but in the trigger group and at the back of the magazine tube there are levers, teeny tiny keeper pins, springs, you name it. Not to mention the bolt. Seems like they would be a engineering nightmare, but they obviously work and have for a long time.

As is evident by the dirt specks on the sheet just from taking it apart, the rifle was plenty dirty so I was glad I took it apart for a good cleaning. But I was very pleased to see the chamber was as smooth and shiny as a new nickel and the bore looked very good.

Normal breakdown would just require removing the knurled knob on the left of the receiver and separating the rifle into 2 parts, the stock and trigger group, and receiver and barrel. No need to remove the forearm and magazine tube for normal cleaning.

 
Very cool rifle. From the other thread it looks like a great shooting rifle as well..
