Kimber Hunter into Mac Edge

Have a chance to pickup a Kimber Hunter in 6.5 Creed. I don't like the cheap stock or the detachable magazine setup. Has anyone put one of these into a MAC Edge stock? Have a call in to McMillan but would like to hear anyone's experiences if they ve already tackled this.
i.e.: blind magazine?
Parts, spring/follower, needed?
Was a weight reduction realized?

Guessing it might be possible to get into Kimber Montana range weight wise.

I don't know of anyone who has done that yet. Doing what your planning will be more expensive than just buying a Montana. I doubt you'll see much if any weight reduction the Hunter is already light. At a minimum you'll need some sort of trigger guard, magazine box, spring, and follower and probably the only place to source those would be direct from Kimber.
