Remington 700 .270 twist rate?

I'm not close to my rifle/cleaning rod to check today, but I was reading a list that "claims" Remington ( my rifle is a 1980 classic) uses a 9 1/2" twist on their .270! Can anyone verify that as I was "99% sure it was a 10" twist. I have been known to be wrong about things...being an honest preacher I'll admit it.

My Sierra 5th edition manual has a list of rifle twist in the back that says Remington has 1 in 10 twist. I will have to check my 700 to see what it is.
