243 wssm

i have a winchester model 70 243 wssm, i have had very great results with this caliber in accuracy. i have heard some rumors about these barrels wearing out quickly, does anybody have any info on that? i really hope the rumor isn't true. i spent alot of cash on this rifle, and it shoots great!!!

The first ones off the line had some wear problems, especially around the throat. The test barrels were being shot out rather quickly.

Word is it was fixed and consumers shouldn't have a problem. To be on the safe side I would contact Winchester directly and find out.
