Here is what the 250 Sierra looks like shot into jugs. Went through 6 jugs and was found on the ground. It retained about 196.2 grains, so I think it did very well. Very impressive as it is probably moving around 2000-2100 out of my 444 Marlin. Anyhow, here are the pictures.

Looking good Scotty.
Nice to see some brown and green too.

I'd think that will work on a black bear, or a deer, or an elk, or...

I'm really impressed with the expansion Scotty. When I shot them from my .44 mag revolver, it didn't seem that they expanded much at all. That's with a mv of about 1200 fps though.

I know they can be accurate. Neat that they expand & hang together so well at .444 velocity!

I would imagine I am in the 2000FPS ballpark. The load is a creampuff to shoot Guy. I made the load using 42 grains of RL7, and wanted to keep it same, so Lori can shoot the rifle without getting beat up. It looks pretty good though, I imagine it'll work well on game as well. That is a tough bullet, very surprised it hung together like it did.

RL7 works great in these old straight cases, it's the shizzle in my 45/70 also.

You aren't kidding Heath. I love the stuff, great speed and accuracy has been very awesome in my 45-70 and the 444 Marlin. It works well from these light 250's in the 444 and the 470's in the 45-70..
