Really impressed by this bullet outta the Bee. 166.4 gr retained and opened to .665" 4-5 gallon buckets at 3425 gotta back it down just a touch but it should be awesome.

With a 300 yard zero 21" low @ 500 and around 2500fps no need for anything else in the Bee.

Excellent performance, Jake. I sure like the E-Tip in all the cartridges in which I've tried it. I can assure you that it works very well on elk, moose and mule deer. I haven't worked up a load with that particular bullet, but in 338 and 284 calibres it works just fine.

Jake,

That E Tip did well on such a torture test.
It should put the lights out on any game you hunt.

I have several boxes of those 168 E-Tips, and would like to try them from my .30-06 one of these days.

Think I'll get enough velocity for dependable expansion out at 300 - 400 yards? I'm very confident in the E-Tip hanging together well at close range & high impact velocity.

I've been running 168gr Barnes TTSX and TSX for years out of my rum. A fast mono metal bullet does wonders!
