I never had a problem finding an accurate load. As Scotty noted, they (like most bonded core bullets) like a jump to the lands. Once I learned that peculiarity, all the trials I conducted were quickly concluded.

As I recall, as I watch the paint dry, I was loading them close to the lands. But I'm 62, only 30 years of hunting left, I'll stick with my 150 BT and 180 Partition in the 06.

That has been my experience with bonded bullets as well.

I just did a test with the 150 grain Sciroccos. .01, .05 and.09 off the lands. The best group by far was .01 off the lands. This is the second time I have done this test and the results have been the same. I guess different rifles have their preferences for jump?
