Met a couple of my former handgun students who wanted a tune up. We spent the morning at the 7 yard line and in, and we worked primarily on trigger pull. A good trigger pull is key to accuracy.

They did well, and after a couple of hours and some discussion on hunting chukar, off they went.

So... It was my turn! I shot only at 7 yards, a lot of practice with my 1911-22 and some with my beat up ol' 45 Kimber 1911.

Did okay with the slow fire portion:

Nosler's 185 gr JHP Match Grade ammo is GREAT! 100% reliable and very accurate.

Good morning Guy. Love seeing your training posts while I’m up here. No time while I’m here but it keeps me primed for when I get home.
Being that I’m less than 20 miles inland from the Bering Sea I don’t see much dry desert air or 85 degree weather either.
Fog and 44 this morning.

Isn't it great to teach what little you know (talking about me in this case) to others and seing them respond to it?
Wouldn't want to stand on the wrong end of those groups....
