The next day I'd Finnish up with this doe, if you look close you can see entrance hole,exit was thumb size, she ran 60 yards and lights out .

Yes a 308 AB, ever since I read some where that some 303's had tight barrels as well as sloppy ones,I'd thought I would try and low and behold the gun my dad have me did great with about every 308 bullet I run trough it, last year I used 140 mono flex to kill a white tail at 80 yards, great job...

According to the Outdoor Life Book Of World Records the biggest white tail take was November 1926 by Carl Lenander Jr of Minnesota witch Feild dressed at 402 pounds, and the local conservation officer calculated live weight to be 511 lbs. Alberta records indicate white tail as big as 420 lbs...

I'm a fan of longer throats, I never worry about the lands, always crimp when I can, usually keep a bullets to factory overall length or shorter, hunting loads is where it's at for me without remortgage on the house to buy components. I don't consider myself that great or knowledgable but...

Tried varget and h-4895, the later with 51.5 grns still speed was up with 3115 fps but a great group with holes touching except the one I accidentally loaded with different case making it a 1 1/8" group, sorry no pic because I forgot to pull target, rain destroyed, but I will have to confirm...
