my local smith says he called Briley and one other and they don't make a reamer for a 10 ga. for some reason or another.

Maybe try Williams Gunsight in Davison MI.
They do excellent work. They built my 280AI and 338 RUM.

You're a better man than me, that's going to have some recoil! Wish I had bought one of those when NEF was making them.

Years ago I watched a gun Smith install choke tubes in a shotgun barrel. He would cut several inches off the barrel to get rid of the factory choke. He would then expand the barrel to get a straight surface too ream and thread.
Be aware that there will be a bulge in the barrel at the back of the choke tube.
