Fish marinade

5 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Finely chopped parsley
Scallions
Crushed peppercorns

Slice up the onions and saute in olive oil until soft. Whisk together the oil and lemon juice, then add the solids. Pour over fish and marinate until it's time to cook. Great for white fish, either grilling or broiling. For darker fish, stronger flavors such as thyme or basil may be appropriate.
 
That looks as if it would be good with crappie, or up here, with whitefish.
