Been working on a friends rifle which is a savage 111 in 7 RM. Tried the 180g ELDMs and 162g ELDXs with H1000 without much luck. Went to the 160g AB and H1000 and now it's much more consistent. This rifle definitely prefers the ABs over the Hornadys.

Sure does like those 160 gr AB, pretty tough to beat that kind of accuracy and over 3000 fps with a great all around bullet.

What is the 3.370"/3.929"...I am confused about the 3.929"

The 3.370" is the COAL, and the 3.929" is the ogive length with the comparator attached to the calipers.

That's what I thought. Now I remember, your calipers are mechanical, so it includes the comparator length.
Thanks.

Again, good load and even better shooting!!!!
